For teachers

A class period you don't have to plan.

You pick the date. We bring a financial professional and an interactive lesson built around a real-world scenario, and we work with you beforehand so it fits what your class is already doing. It's free.

What you get

Everything except the students

A guest who does the job

A working financial professional, prepared by us, who can answer the questions students actually ask: what do you do all day, how did you get there, what does it pay, what's hard about it.

A complete lesson

Intro, interactive exercise, and wrap-up, sized to a single period. We bring the materials and the activity; you bring the projector.

A fit with your class

Before the visit we talk through what you're teaching and adjust the lesson so it connects to your unit, your grade level, and your students.

Good fits

Where it lands well

  • Economics, personal finance, business, and math classes
  • Career-exploration days and advisory periods
  • Grades 9 through 12; the lessons scale up or down
  • Any class size that can break into four to eight groups
  • Single periods or block schedules

No prior finance knowledge needed, for you or the students. The professional carries the content; your role is the room.

What we need from you

  • A date and a class period, with a few weeks' notice
  • A short conversation beforehand about what your class is covering
  • A projector or screen the whole room can see
  • Tables or desks that can be grouped
  • Whatever visitor sign-in your school requires
Common questions

Before you ask

Does this cost anything?

No. Visits are free for schools. The professionals volunteer their time.

Does the lesson line up with what I'm teaching?

That's the point of the conversation beforehand. Each lesson connects to economics, personal finance, and data-literacy standards, and we tailor the framing and the debrief to your unit.

How far ahead should I book?

A few weeks is ideal so we can match you with a professional, tailor the lesson, and clear the date with your school.

Is it in person?

Yes. Every visit is in person, in your classroom.

What if my school needs background checks or paperwork?

Tell us what your school requires and we'll work through it with the professional before the visit.
